Aimee has been very active lately which is very reassuring. The appt went good...I gained whopping 8 1/2 pounds since the last appt. I knew I have gained few pounds but 8 1/2. Whoa! I begin to have hearty appetite...I eat everything in sight. No wonder! :o)

Her heart rate is around 148 bpm. We discussed the game plan. I felt good knowing what is the plan ahead for me. I will be seeing the dr every 3 weeks now and I will have to take GTT (glucose tolerance test) sometimes next week since I'll be 24 weeks.

The dr appt went good but there was a little concern about Aimee. I was worried because she wasn't very active lately so the dr let me have the u/s to see what Aimee has been doing. There she was...sucking her thumb! She seemed to be happy sitting her butt on my bladder with both of her feet over her head and sucking her thumb, which explain why she wasn't very active. She looked very relaxing. Her heart rate was around 140 bpm. The concern part is that Aimee is now measured two weeks behind her due date. Dr said that he definitely would monitor her growth very closely. He said that Aimee is probably will be a very small baby but so far she is healthy as long as I have gained weight (yup! I gained another 8 1/2 pounds in three weeks, oh boy!). I'll see a midwife in two weeks.

Today was a short and quick appt. My blood pressure was good and I only gained 2 pounds in two weeks. Aimee is doing well. She has been a hiccup a lot lately. Her heart rate has been the same - around 140 bpm. The midwife explained that I would have a sonogram in two weeks to check her growth and the fluid around her. If she is not growing much as she should be, then I will have to see a peri (maternal/fetal specialist) for farther testing. So we are praying for Aimee and hope everything will be okay.
